TEZZA F. è una
symphonic power metal one-man-band di Verona (Italia), fondata nel 2006 da
Filippo Tezza, ex componente delle band locali Soul Guardian e Shards Of
Fear, ed attuale cantante dei Chronosfear
e chitarrista degli Empathica.
Dopo i
primi due demo-album del 2006 e del 2008, e in seguito ad una lunga sessione di
scrittura e registrazione, TEZZA F. rende disponibile, nel Giugno del 2012,
l’album auto-prodotto The Message (...A
Story Of Agony, Hope and Faith...). Durante il mese di Settembre del 2012,
il nuovo album giunge all’interesse dell’etichetta italiana Heart Of Steel
Records, e con essa TEZZA F. firma un contratto per la distribuzione dell’album
nel mercato digitale.
The Message (...A
Story Of Agony, Hope and Faith...) viene rilasciato ufficialmente nel
Febbraio del 2013 ed ottiene qualche buona recensione dalla stampa heavy metal.
Nel 2014 Filippo comincia a comporre il nuovo full-lenght e nel frattempo
decide di registrare alcune sue tracce appartenenti al vecchio repertorio dei
Soul Guardian, in occasione dei dieci anni dalla nascita della sua ex-band,
ormai sciolta dal 2012. I
l risultato di alcuni mesi di lavoro è The Guardian Rises (Pt. 1), pronto nell’Aprile
del 2015, ed è il primo EP di una piccola serie dedicata ai Soul Guardian. Al
momento, il secondo e prossimo full-lenght album è composto e pronto per essere
registrato. The Guardian Rises (Pt. 1) è disponibile nel mercato digitale dal 30 Maggio 2015, su Heart Of
Steel Records.
BIOGRAPHY
TEZZA F. is a symphonic power metal one-man-band
from Verona (Italy), created in 2006 by Filippo Tezza, ex-member of the local
bands Soul Guardian and Shards Of Fear, and current singer of Chronosfear and guitarist of Empathica.
After the first two demo-album
in 2006 and 2008, and after a long writing and recording session, TEZZA F. made
available the self-produced album The
Message (...A Story Of Agony, Hope and Faith...) in June 2012. During
September 2012, the new record came to the interest of the Italian label Heart
Of Steel Records, and so with it TEZZA F. signed an agreement for the digital
market. The Message (...A Story Of Agony,
Hope and Faith...) has been released on February 2013 and got some positive
reviews by the heavy metal press.
In 2014, Filippo began to compose the new
full-length and, in the meantime, decided to record some of his tracks
belonging to the old Soul Guardian repertory, in occasion of the tenth year
since the formation of his ex-band (disbanded in 2012). The result of some months
of work is The Guardian Rises (Pt. 1),
the first EP of a small series, ready in April 2015. At present, the next and
second full-length is ready to be record. The Guardian Rises (Pt. 1) release date: 30th May 2015, Heart Of Steel
Records.
